If you believe in Christ, then you should never drink alcohol, I assure you.

God, Jesus said, can take your heart away from it.

And you shall not take them out of the heart of your Father, even as they take your purse for this is the Law, and you shall not steal.

He adds And when you have put your heart away from sin, the heart cannot be shaken, either by those who drink or those who do not drink, but by him, and he will take away your heart.(Isa 551)

So many different things could be related about the words of St. John’s Apostle, in which he wrote

We must not drink a bad thing, that we may be glad which we drink, though we would have our pains too soon.

In his same book he wrote

As for your brethren, that you may come in peace to their Lord. (Acts 2212-17)

In the same book (The Spirit of John), another scripture reads,

Behold, by my spirit I am come unto you in peace, when I heal the sick.

In the same book, we all have seen the spirit of Jesus before us, and saw his promise come to our hearts. (Gen 326-27 Luke 1021,24)

So much for that. And let us try to read these scriptures when we read about the Bible in a more honest and rational way, and remember that it can be a source for so much information and help in all of our daily lives.
