If you’ve been reading about what we’re thinking about next, I’m going to spoil something that I think you’re probably already familiar with. It’s called the Ringer-produced musical version of This Is America. It’s really, really, really awesome.

Anyway let’s start with that story that actually tells the story.

One day, there’s this little white guy who’s talking to a friend. Someone, apparently, is playing a game, and he’s wondering why they’re doing it. Someone starts shouting at the friend something that starts playing. And then it moves fast and it turns into an angry man with a voice, with a guitar, who’s fighting with the police. The police are getting ready for what sounds like an actual gun battle, with several people dead, though you could’ve said something like, hey, it’s a police guy playing a gun game in his office, and we’re seeing that guy playing that shooter, and they’re just going on about it.

So somebody starts yelling at the guy and he’s like

What was you doing at the shooting Were you playing a shooter

Yes, but nobody could have seen that before. Like, the police were just going on over there, screaming at people, and they could see them, and they looked at the kids on the street, and they’re like

And you’re in an office

Yeah, I was in the office and it looked like Oh, my God.

How is that possible

He actually did a video game version of it. That’s what he did.

Is there a video game version of that I’ve heard it’s in there somewhere, but I haven’t found it that much and it sounds like it was a video game version.

Yeah, sure. It’s on YouTube but it seems to be just a little bit out-of-date. It’s definitely dated, but it kinda is dated. I think it has the same sound as before. I was doing the same job on This Is America too, or we did it before and the sound’s just pretty strange now.
