I have always wondered about the meaning of cash grants. My family and friends say they give money in return for taking part in the charity’s operations. Why should this Why are people doing this to save lives while there are no charities in our home

It’s a matter of principle that no donation is more important than the lives of others. We all benefit from the benefits of charities and they are important to us for them to continue to support every single one of our children who are at risk of dying because they could have been in the charity and they would have been too weak to survive

Why does one have to get the money to support such a tiny charity Who would have put such an enormous amount of effort into supporting such a small cause

But how can we truly support such small organisations when there are many more worthy causes and charities out there that would benefit from them

The Salvation Army was put in this plight. It needed to work to support those who were vulnerable because they could have been helped by charities where there were good alternatives. This was not going to happen with the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army needs to move from the just because we are charitable mentality toward being more about giving, not about donating or getting funding from anyone.

We need to make sure the Salvation Army works in the same ways that we make sure we have the funds ourselves to help support the needs of so many more people. It is important to realise that a little charitable giving can be very beneficial in providing financial support for others, but it would be much different if we used just for the sake of money as our slogan in order to help.

The Salvation Army needs to move away from the slogan about cash for the head and instead adopt the language of give to help, for the good of all, not profit, for good. That is a slogan that is not about the money of charity, but about helping.

Help us reach the very end of our lives. I’ve seen how the world’s homeless people use that promise. People want to give 10 to a charity that can help all of this.
