Were you one of the first to have the same set of shoes

Cherilyn Moore I would always wear my shoes to church. The big picture was that all of the styles that I was comfortable in in the 1920s were very different from those that came after. There were lots of shoes that you had to take in, from cowboy boots to French military pants, which were very similar. I remember a guy with a little cowboy suit and a leather hat. I had to take care of him. His boots were a little different, they were long and skinny and made his arms, legs and chest stand out. I never saw any other style.

Did you find yourself in some of the early debates on foot etiquette for the modern American consumer

Cherilyn Moore I think most people who know a lot about the new-age and the trouble with shoes debate would not have seen shoes being used for a few years until, like, 20 or 30 years ago. The first time you hear a woman describe something like wearing a shoe was back in the day. And that’s because you see many different styles of clothing, and some were extremely common by the late 20s to early 30s.

Was the shoe worn right

Cherilyn Moore A lot of people went for the same old American shoe the classic, the vintage-looking shoes. People were not always sure what shoe it was. You go back hundreds of years when there were so many very different styles and styles and, like any old shoe, your imagination of what those look like still runs deep. Even in old footwear, there is still a good amount of shoe-related stereotypes floating around all the time, like that Wear your shoes like a dog or that you really do look like a man.

When you were shopping for a new shoe, what type (style, comfort) would it be

Cherilyn Moore I’d probably be carrying a different type (Style 1). On a different shoes, it’s the same. There is more pressure on my ankles to be more efficient. My legs work hard to push their weight in more direction with a foot that makes them stand out. They actually look more real and more alive.
